SOUTHERN ALBERTA

CARING FOR OUR WATERSHEDS: Southern Alberta is open to students who live in the Alberta borders south of and including the Airdrie area.
Students who live north of the Airdrie area are asked to enter CARING FOR OUR WATERSHEDS: Central Alberta.
Students within Southern Alberta are invited to submit proposals that answer the question:
What can you do to improve your watershed?
Students will compete for over $6,000
Participating schools and clubs are eligible for over $11,000
Students who implement their ideas are eligible for $10,000

2019 Winners Announced

Thank you to all of the students, teachers and volunteers who participated. The verbal competition was held on April 27, 2019 at Ralph Klein Park and the top ten finalists were outstanding!
The $1,000 first place prize was awarded to Madisson Hoskins from Centennial High School for her proposal called, “Plant a Better World.”
