CARING FOR OUR WATERSHEDS: Chesapeake Bay is open to Middle School and High School classrooms who attend school in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
Classrooms are asked to submit proposals that answer the question:
“What can you do to improve your watershed?”
- Classrooms will compete for $6,000
- Participating schools and clubs are eligible for $10,000
- Implementation funding is available for $10,000. All classes are encouraged to implement their ideas

2024 Finalists Announced
The $1,000 first place prize was awarded to Jamestown Elementary School from Arlington, Virginia, USA for their proposal called, “Jamestown Litter Clean up Crew”.
