In each watershed contest, participating schools and registered not-for-profit clubs are eligible for $11,000 in rewards.
Here's how - schools/clubs that have students enter the contest will be given $100 per 10 entries (based on the first 500 entries) plus all finalists will win matching cash awards for their school or club. Prior to entering the student must choose the club or school they are representing.
For example: St. Mary's School had 57 students enter the contest. 2 students made the finals and received 1st place and 5th place.
- 57 entries = $500
- 1st place = $1,000
- 5th place = $600
St. Mary’s School won $2,100 cash! (Plus, the students who made the finals each won cash prizes!)
Students are encouraged to implement their ideas. Funding is available to help with the cost of the project. Contact your local Program Coordinator or click here for more details.
