Each year, Caring for Our Watersheds selects one student action project to implement across all programs in Canada, the USA and Argentina. This year, we have selected a project from a group of students from Virginia, USA, in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed Region.
Their project aims at protecting purple martins, threatened by habitat loss, by providing shelter for them during migration and mating season – and you can help us implement their project idea on an international scale!
CFW will be donating one purple martin tower to a winning school or community partner in each region.
Download and share this poster that includes details on the project, the raffle, and to enter! The deadline to enter for your chance to win a purple martin tower is March 31, 2023.
Thank you for supporting purple martins and helping these students to implement their environmental solution on an international scale!
Please contact your local program coordinator with questions.
