Turning ideas into
environmental solutions.

CARING FOR OUR WATERSHEDStm is an education program that engages students in preserving and improving their local watersheds through student-led solutions.

This program is curriculum-based and an excellent way to bring project-based learning to the classroom. Plus, students and their schools can win cash-prizes!

Why Should You Care?

Youth around the world are turning their environmental ideas into solutions. The Caring For Our Watersheds program asks the question, "What can you do to improve your watershed?" The contest may not be offered in your town, but YOU are still encouraged to answer the question by taking action in your community

The Ripple Effect Challenge

Across contests, youth are implementing environmental projects and challenging other students to do the same. These projects create positive ripples - much like a drop of water - affecting entire communities through a single solution. Check out their action videos here!
