Get started HERE with the Chesapeake Bay CFW toolkit!

CARING FOR OUR WATERSHEDS: Chesapeake Bay is open to Middle School and High School classrooms who attend school in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

Classrooms are asked to submit proposals that answer the question:

“What can you do to improve your watershed?”

  • Classrooms will compete for $6,000
  • Participating schools and clubs are eligible for $10,000
  • Implementation funding is available for $10,000. All classes are encouraged to implement their ideas

The $1,000 first place prize was awarded to Rachel Carson Middle School from Fairfax, Virginia, USA for their proposal called, “Plastic Pollution, Composting, and General Recycling.”
