CARING FOR OUR WATERSHEDS: Ontario is open to Grades 7 to 9 students who live in the Lower Trent Watershed region.
Students are asked to submit proposals that answer the question:
“What can you do to improve your watershed?”
Students will compete for $4,500 in rewards
- Participating schools are eligible for nearly $5,500 in rewards
- Students who implement their ideas are eligible for additional funding

The $1,000 first place prize was awarded to Abigail McAlpine and Layla-Jane Corsaut for their proposal called, “The Buzz-y Bee Project “.
